Gutter Guard Installation — Bowral

Full-perimeter colour-matched gutter guard installed on a Bowral home surrounded by mature eucalypts — reducing cleaning frequency and adding a layer of ember protection.

The challenge

The homeowner had been cleaning gutters two to three times a year under heavy eucalyptus leaf drop. A previous drop-in plastic 'leaf guard' had blown out in storms and was making blockages worse. With bushfire season approaching, they wanted a permanent solution that also improved ember safety.

What we did

Removed the old plastic inserts and cleared the gutters back to bare metal. Installed premium Australian-made aluminium ember mesh across the full perimeter, Colorbond® colour matched to the existing roof and gutters. Every clip, saddle and trim was fixed to manufacturer spec so the mesh sits proud enough for leaves to blow off.
