Roof Clean, Gutter Clean & Gutter Guard — Far Meadow, Berry

A big job out at Far Meadow near Berry: a full roof clean, gutters cleared out, and gutter guard installed across both the house and the barn on a complex rural roofline. Less climbing ladders, more peace of mind year-round.

The challenge

Rural properties with sheds and barns cop plenty of leaf litter, and Far Meadow is no exception — the property sits in lush grazing country near Berry with trees close to the buildings. The complex roofline across both the house and the barn was collecting debris in the gutters, which risks overflow, rust and blocked downpipes if it's left to build up. With fire season approaching, accumulated leaf litter in gutters is also fuel, and getting up on ladders every few months isn't something the owners wanted to keep doing.

What we did

We started with a full roof clean, clearing the built-up dirt and organic growth from the roof surface. From there, the gutters on both buildings were cleared out completely — leaves, bark and compacted debris removed, downpipes checked — so nothing went under the new guard. Then we installed gutter guard across the house and the barn, fitted to suit the complex roof profile so debris sheds off rather than settling in the gutter line.

• Full roof clean across the house
• Gutters cleared out on the house and the barn
• Downpipes checked for clear flow
• Gutter guard installed on the house
• Gutter guard installed on the barn
• Guard fitted to suit the complex rural roofline

The outcome

The roof is clean, the gutters are clear, and both the house and the barn are now protected with gutter guard — meaning far less gutter maintenance and no more regular ladder work. Keeping gutters clear helps protect against overflow, rust and blocked downpipes, and the owners were really happy with the result. So are we.

"Gutter guard means less climbing ladders and more peace of mind year-round — and on a rural block with sheds and barns, that's exactly what the owners were after."
