Roof Clean — Willow Farm, Berry

A roof clean across a whole Berry property: the main house, the homestead, the wedding reception building, the barn and the sheds. The wash used was safe for rainwater tanks, so water running off these roofs is still safe to store.

The challenge

Willow Farm is a property with several buildings rather than one roof — the main house, the homestead, the wedding reception building, the barn and the sheds — each with its own roofline and its own access. Most of them are corrugated metal, and several collect rainwater, so anything washed off a roof can end up in a tank that is actually used. That rules out the harsh chemicals and the heavy pressure that would make a job of this size quicker.

What we did

Keith worked the property building by building, starting with the main house and the homestead and finishing with the wedding reception building, the barn and the sheds. A tank-safe, eco-friendly wash was used instead of a heavy chemical clean, and each roof was worked gently so water was kept moving over the sheets and into the gutters rather than forced back up under them.

The outcome

Every roof on the property came back to a clean, even finish, and the rainwater tanks stayed safe to use throughout. The main house and homestead look well kept again, and the reception building presents as it should for its weddings.
