Roof Pressure Clean — Huntingdale, Berry

A corrugated metal roof in Huntingdale, Berry had developed a heavy layer of dirt, moss and organic growth. Keith completed a careful roof wash, working methodically across the sheets to restore the clean, light finish visible in the photo.

The challenge

The property is surrounded by mature trees, so shade, leaf litter and moisture had allowed dark organic growth to settle along the corrugations. The build-up was especially visible where water and debris collected between the roof ribs, leaving a clear contrast with the cleaner sections of metal roofing.

What we did

Keith assessed the metal roof and used a controlled pressure-cleaning method suited to the surface. He worked with the roof profile rather than forcing water against sheet laps, paying close attention around the valley and flue. The roof was cleaned in sections so the loosened dirt and organic matter could be rinsed away safely and the result checked as the work progressed.

The outcome

The wash removed the dark surface build-up and brought back the roof's brighter finish. The in-progress photo shows the difference clearly: cleaned metal above and the remaining moss and grime below, before the next section was washed.
