Solar Panel Possum Proofing — Berry

Removed established possum nests, cleaned the panels, and installed no-drill perimeter mesh around the full solar array — permanently ending months of noise, mess and warranty risk.

The challenge

A family in Berry had a young possum family living under their rooftop solar array for over a year. Droppings were streaking down the tiles, wiring under the panels was chewed and the noise was waking the household nightly. Two prior deterrents (a gel and a strobe light) had done nothing.

What we did

Safely relocated the possum family, removed all nesting material and droppings, then soft-washed the panels and surrounding tiles. Installed durable Australian-made mesh clipped to the aluminium panel frames using no-drill clips — Colorbond® colour matched to the roof so the finish is discreet from the ground.

The outcome
