Free Gutter Clean & Father's Day Raffle Prize — Berry Community Pre-School

We cleaned the gutters at Berry Community Pre-School free of charge and donated a $350 gift voucher as the grand prize in their Father's Day raffle — redeemable for a gutter clean or solar panel clean for a local Berry dad.

The challenge

Berry Community Pre-School sits among established trees in the middle of town, so its gutters fill quickly with leaf litter through autumn and winter. Like most not-for-profit pre-schools, every dollar in the budget is earmarked for the kids, and roof-height maintenance is the kind of job that quietly gets pushed down the list — even though blocked gutters mean overflow onto play areas, damp along the eaves and water pooling where children walk.

What we did

We donated the job outright. Gutters were hand-cleared across the buildings, downpipes flushed and flow-tested, and all debris bagged and taken off site — work carried out safely outside operating hours (Keith holds RIIWHS204E Work Safely at Heights and a NSW White Card, and Coast Flow carries $20M public liability cover). We also donated a $350 Coast Flow gift certificate as the grand prize for the pre-school's Father's Day raffle, redeemable for a gutter clean or a solar panel clean at a local Berry home.

The outcome
